The Illinois Lama Association (ILLA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promote the joy of owning lamas.

Membership

Membership of the ILLA consists of llama and alpaca owners, wanna-be owners and those that just admire these gorgeous animals.  Any person interested in advancing the purposes of the Association may become a member.  Membership shall be granted upon written application and payment of annual dues.  Membership is not restricted to residents of the State of Illinois. 

Membership provides an opportunity to make new friends and share your enthusiasm for lamas.  It is not necessary to be a lama owner to be a member.

Benefits to Becoming an ILLA Member are:


  • Quarterly newsletter e-mailed to current members that keeps members current with information about health issues of lamas, coming events, barn hints and other lama related activities.

  • Voting rights to all matters concerning the ILLA.  


  • Invitation to attend conferences held by the Association.


  • Use of lending library of lama related materials, books, videos, etc.  


  • Meet and network with other lama owners, and receive an annual directory of ILLA members.
Membership Dues:

Farm/Individual: $25
Youth (under age 18): $10

The membership year is March 1 through February 28. 

For new members who join between Sept. 1 of one year and March 1 of the next year, membership will be extended until March of the following year.
